[Coordinator] Layla Parker

Physical Appearance: Standing at an average 5'5, her most eye-catching feature would most likely be her long, flowing pale pink hair she had dyed at the age of 14, on her birthday. Her hair gently frames her oval-shaped face, giving it a softer edge to it. She is not extremely well developed, however, she models a slight curvy body. One of the flaws in her physical appearance are her ears, they are quite large and she calls them the 'monkey ears'. She refuses to ever put her hair behind her ears because of that, however is still willingly to put her hair into a ponytail, bun, and braid as her ears does not stand out as much. Layla always wanted to have tanned skin, however, her skin never listens and stubbornly stays pale. 

Layla loves messing with her hair, and besides the fact she dyed it, she also had it styled somewhat you can refrain as 'side bangs' The pale pink color is so pale it turns into an extremely light pinkish-white color in the sunlight, giving it a slight white glow to it. They flow just a little above her waist, at the small of her back. She switches hairstyles often, and especially as a coordinator, she loves finding new hair styles to do. Her most personal favorite, however, is the messy bun, though occasionally she switches up to the sock bun. Large dark blue eyes give another pop of color to her face, framed with extremely dark brown eyelashes that she likes to thicken up with black mascara and appear larger with eyeliner. Flecks of dark green may be revealed in her eyes sometimes, however, sometimes they may not.  A small nose with a high nose bridge doesn't take up much of her face, and thin lips are just right below it. Layla use to have severely crooked teeth, but on her 11th birthday, her parents finally saved enough money to get her braces, and now, she only has the slightest hint of an overbite. She does have a small birthmark on the border of her neck that is in a light brown color, still not faded yet.

Layla loves to switch up her outfits, so you most likely will never know what to expect next time you see this 15 year old teenager. Growing  up in the not very city like Solaceon town, some of her outfits has a country flair in it. One of her extremely common outfits are a cute floral dress topped off with a cardigan or jacket, for example, a pink and white flower dress with specks of white would be paired with a short white cardigan and white flats. However, another of her common outfits would be a long flowing t-shirt, sometimes tucked into her shorts, and a thin acorn colored belt with a gold buckle, and either high-top shoes or vans.


 

Personality: Layla has an optimistic personality. She tends to look at the positive side of things instead of the negative, thinking there will be a good side out of everything, which was taught by her mother as her mother was a positive person herself. She tries to spread happiness to everyone around her, which the moodier ones may find it a bit annoying. Layla is a little bit of a perfectionist, though, so she tries to perfect a move/dance routine to the best of it's ability. She also gets easily angered when someone tells her that she is wrong, she doesn't like being wrong and believes she is usually right, which also caused into quite many arguments as a child between her and her mother. Though she tries to make friends with everybody, if someone keeps on becoming extremely mean to her, she will become quite rude herself. However, she is extremely playful,  sometimes a little like a kid - she loves to goof around. Layla is very friendly and talkative, which causes her to especially enjoy making new friends and often go up to people, sometimes a bit too randomly. Unfortunately, Layla can be a little bit too gullible, and will easily be convinced and believe something, where some people may take advantage of. This 15 year old also has a motherly instinct in her, and in a result, it causes her to be quite attatched to her pokemon and will be over protective of them.

History: Layla, though her family wasn't rich, she had an extremely good life. Her parents were extremely loving and kind, her brother was supportive of her. As a child, she was often brought to Hearthome by her father, and she and her brother would go to the Poffin House and watch the contests. As a child, her dream was to be a coordinator, as she was completely fastinated by the beautiful shows. Her father, who could see her love for it, began to teach her, began to show her some of the skills to become a coordinator. They would experience it on the farm pokemon, like the Miltank, Combee, etc. Even though she was taught the basic skills by her father, whom was also a coordinator, she knew she probably would never become one because going to the Caspian Region was extremely expensive. However, her whole family decided to surprise her a couple days after her birthday with a boat ticket to Caspian, and with joyful tears and hugs, she began to pack up for her new journey. And a month later, she said her goodbyes and there she went to her new journey.
