The road ahead seemed so long. It seemed almost impossible, to say the least. Winding roads, frivolous encounters, a wide variety of Pokemon and trainers. A sigh escaped the pale lips of the traveler. A hand slipped out of a side pocket, pushing locks of blonde out of the eyes, to get a better view of where she was going. "At least it's not hot out... Not yet anyways." She spoke, her voice almost inaudible. At least no one was around, so she didn't have to worry about speaking up, or loud. The boat ride over wasn't exactly the best, but at least it got her here - and safely.
The sounds of the waves, lapping at the sandy shore, played like music in the girl's ears. And the cries of the Wingull flock overhead was a bit more calming than the scurvy pirate talk of the crew she traveled amongst. At least that part was over. The next, from what she gathered, was to introduce herself to the person handing out the Pokemon at the Gaia Ranch. Her eyes fell to the path she was walking along. It was beaten. Worn down by the trainers before her - also on the same quest, more or less. She looked back up, almost in time to see herself walk right in to a fence. She shook her head, eyeing her surroundings to see if anyone had made their presence known. No one had. A sigh of relief came from her, before she came to a door. She inhaled and exhaled slowly, before rapping against the door three times. Knock...Knock...Knock... The pounding of her knuckles against the door echoed through her ears, temporarily blocking out the sound of the waves. "I wonder which Pokemon this person will have available for me to choose from..." The thoughts of the Pokemon evaded her mind as she waited.
