Chase has slightly tanned skin and jet black hair. His eyes are a vibrant green. He stands in at five feet and ten inches tall, weighing around 168lbs. He typically wears t-shirts, khakis, and hiking boots. All his clothes consist of earty tones, but also can have blues and reds mixed in somewhere. Chase is lean and obviously one who walks a lot. He carries a single strap bag with all his things needed. That is a red and black color with various handy pockets. He likes to always keep it by him. It is decorated with various button pins of his favorite Pokemon. He also tends to carry his chibi fletchling plushie in it.
Chase can also be seen wearing sweat pants and sweaters in the colder months. Often in winter he has a thick jacket. These are more in the red color spectrum. He switches his hiking shoes to more suitable boots to keep his feet dry and warm. He wears hats and scarfs a lot too, though has a newsie cap he typically wears in general that is black, matching his hair color.
Personality:
Chase is typically a very shy and reserved person. He likes to often be alone, but also is alright with company. Chase is seldom seen talking and typically gives more simplistic answers in regards to any questions. He is calm and collected with a seemingly cool air about him. He is very sweet though and caring. He has a soft side for cute things too. Chase is more so a doormat and tends to get taken advantage of, which has caused him to become untrusting of people for a long time. Chase likes birds, canines, and felines a lot, but of course isn't biased. Chase may be a breeder, but he also likes to battle in order to keep his Pokemon fit and allow for evolution too. He is slightly odd in that, but doesn't care. He is true to himself and always supportive of his friends. He tries his best to be someone worth looking up to, but knows his limits. He loves cooking and is pretty good at it, as well as drawing. Though most often if not with his sketchbook he can be seen reading. He tends to take naps a lot and often drifts off while reading a good book.
Chase dislikes when people are rude and tends to ignore them. He is extremely patient and tolerant, able to give the cold shoulder no matter what the case. It is rare to actually make Chase snap in fact. He does get upset though, but tends to hide it. He feels that revealing too much to others is dangerous. Chase is not comfortable in social situations or in large groups. He prefers to stay at the sidelines and go unnoticed for as long as he possibly can. Chase is also squeemish when it comes to large amounts of blood, typically cringing away.
Though he is typically forgiving by nature if you truly get on his bad side he can hold a major grudge. He has a strong sense of justice and hates when people make unjustified accusations. He doesn't often step in though. He is more of a peaceful guy. Plus Chase is kind of a helpless romantic, but lacks the confidence to tell that special someone about his true feelings. Still, he hopes to some day fond love. Chase does love Pokemon though. He knows quite an extensive amount on then and fancies birds, canines and felines most of all when it comes to specifics.
History:
Chase was born to a single mother after his father had died in a car crash just a month before he was born. Chase had to be raised by only his mother . Though he got some babysitters it was rarely long enough. He often stuck with his mother and even became very clingy to her. Since then he was often the center of attention and due to his mom's slight depression rarely did he get out. That of course stunted his social growth, making him the shy boy he is today. He would often sit and watch TV at home. That's where he found his dream. Chase was watching a show when he came to realize his dream to become a Pokemon breeder in the future. That is what had him soon studying all he could and gathering much information.
He soon was very knowledgeable and even got to experience a couple battles. Chase knew he would be a breeder, but battles were also something he could do to strengthen his Pokemon into good health. He eventually announced his plans to become a breeder, to his mother's dismay. That ended with him staying home up until he was eighteen as he cared for her. Chase invested much of his time trying to care for his mother. He made progress as he went and she started to get out Kore. They would often have nights together to just be family. Mostly while sitting down to a good movie. After helping her through her depression he was told he could go on a journey. Now arriving in the region, Chase is looking towards the future and has great plans for himself. As well as possibly trying to find a few friends and perhaps a romantic partner in time. Although all will come as it does.
