One mile from the harbor in which all Trainers come from is the Gaia Ranch, spreading for 3 miles and containing almost any Pokemon imaginable. At the entrance of this ranch is what at first appears to be a small cottage, but is actually attached to a large laboratory containing technologies of all sorts. It is inside of the cozy little cottage, however, in which aspiring adventurers will meet their new best friend and receive everything they need to start their new journey.

The stereotypical first steps a beginning Trainer ever takes. An abundance of Pokemon types roam here in this grassy field, and even more can be found in the trees bordering the dirt path you travel on. Other Trainers who have just begun are already thirsting for battle and likely may challenge you, so stay on your toes!

The first town trainers will encounter when making their way through their journey. The town is quaint, quiet and always seems to have a slight breeze rustling the leaves of the trees encircling it.

Slightly less dense in trees than Route 1, through this short area one can constantly feel the wind on their face, and hear the trickle of a small stream filled with various shallow water loving Pokemon.

Though Ceram has the title of "City", it resembles a small town in all but the stand-alone Pokemart and aesthetically-impressive Contest Hall. An interesting note is that every building, from the hotels to the Gym, is made of red bricks.

One will suddenly find themselves inside of a dense forest where the grass is completely untamed. While light often peaks through the trees, making it not seem like a spooky dark forest, something that is slightly unnerving is that the thick grass and smell of honey from the trees makes every encounter rather unpredictable. Swarms of young Pokemon, in particular, have been known to occur. Some specialty trainers will be happy to see a giant, deep lake in the center containing water Pokemon of all kinds and rarities.

When one manages to make their way out of the forest, they will find themselves with quite the warm welcome. Flores Town is possibly the most naturally beautiful town in all of Caspian, with beautiful wildflowers growing everywhere, and quaint little cabins built entirely out of wood are the only buildings you can find here. Even the Gym and Breeding Center, though lined internally with fire-resistant material, have this same cozy feel to them. The smell of the wildflowers is heavenly, although admittedly overpowering to some with strong noses.

While the trees have managed to start slowly disappearing until there are almost none by the end of the route, instead, everything is replaced by thick brush. It can take a while to navigate oneself through the area, and getting through without a scratch from all of the bush's thorns is usually even more difficult.

A surprisingly simple town, nature wise, considering the areas that proceeded it. The land is flat, trees here are sparse and rather barren and thin, and the grass is naturally short. However, buildings are much more developed than the previous towns, with a large, red Gym, and an even larger, bright orange (almost tacky looking) Contest Hall.

A downhill road with even fewer trees than the town that proceeds it. Sand starts mixing in with the grass, and the grass becomes taller and wispier as one moves onward. In the distance, one can clearly see a mountain ahead.

As Route 4 narrows, one will find themselves with only one option of their place to go: A large, faintly lit cave with a sign at the entrance saying "Scylla Cave: Evolve Today". Inside, one will find a civilization of mostly elderly people residing in the large, spacious area due to its humidity and heat feeling good on their bones. Pokemon are encouraged to stay outside of their ball and take the opportunity to relax themselves and rejuvenate. One can find hot springs to take a dip in, kind, veteran strangers handing out old items of theirs to the upcoming generation, merchants selling evolution items of all kinds, and most importantly, caverns to take certain Pokemon so they will evolve (for the price of a rare candy, of course- you gotta keep the economy going!). As Trainers finish up their stay, they are given two options- they may continue to trek through Mt. Polyphemus and search for rare cave dwelling Pokemon, or they may travel over Charybdis Sea, which one must take a Trainer filled ferry through which they will surely encounter many battles- unless, of course, they posses a Pokemon with Surf...

If one decides to trek through Mt. Polyphemus, they will find themselves battling quite a lot of cave dwelling Pokemon. Trainers may either choose to travel by walking up and then down the mountain if they wish to reach some very chilly temperatures, or they may travel inside and go through all of the caverns. Fortunately, it's hard to get lost due to all of the signs, and there are many items sitting around for Trainers to randomly find and take for the keeping.

If one has a thirst for battling others, the ferry over the Charybdis Sea is the choice for them. With many Trainers of all types bundling in one area, the ferry is the perfect place to build up your Pokemon's strength and make money. However, for those lucky enough to have a Pokemon that knows Surf, they may also take that option, fighting all the Water Pokemon they can, and the few occasional swimmers and other surfers.

As both the end of the sea and the mountain pass meet, the land turns into a rocky beach with not many places for wild Pokemon to hide, except for the few select ones that decide to have a quick little adventure away from home. As well as being a nice fishing spot, there are tons of Trainers to battle who are ready to show off their new Pokemon's moves from their long time in the ferry or mountain.

The first thing that usually hits people when they enter this town is the thick smell of salt. With a sea on one side and a marsh on the other, the air here is thick with a certain mix of swamp smell and sea breeze. A river circles the town almost like a moat, and the ground is mostly sandy. Architecture here is quite quaint.

The name "swamp" is definitely more for an alliteration. Siren Swamp, though actually more like a marsh like river front, is a treck road mostly via bridges over the muddy riverbed of the Amphitrite River. While Trainers are more common here, wild Pokemon living in the low trees and marshy terrain are known to pop out and challenge travelers.

After one makes their way out of the scenic marsh-like area, they will be greeted with a somewhat eerie city. The constant clouds over the nearby rainforest make it so that the sun never shines there. Buildings are clean and seem to be perfect- almost too perfect. The only relatively cheery thing about the city is the hot pink Contest Hall.

While the Flores Forest was more like a stroll through a long patch of woods, this is where most Trainers say they felt the most frightened their entire journey. It rains 20-24 hours every day and is constantly dark due to the thick trees and the constant clouds. The grass is thick and goes up to one's waist, and is filled with aggressive, mischievous Pokemon of all kinds. It can take some Trainers days to get through depending on their diligence, and they seek shelter under some of the bigger trees devoid of tall grass where the rain can't put out any campfires. Dark, ghost, and poison types seem to be the most common Pokemon, making it even worse to get through for most. However, if one stays long enough, they can find many rare Pokemon along the way.

If it weren't for the rainfall reducing to a slight drizzle and the occasional ray of sunlight, one may not even know they had made their way out of the Anemoi Rainforest. The grass here is thick, there are thick trees circling the oval shaped town, and all of the wooden cabins are starting to have creeping vines and weeds grow all around them. Even the Gym and Breeding Centers are being invaded by the wildlife- though, it adds to their "charm" in an odd way.
